In this mixed-level yoga class, designed for runners, you will learn to move, breathe and focus in ways that significantly improve mobility and body connectivity optimizing your performance. Every class will include brain/body connection work, whole-body integration, fundamentals of concentration, and breath awareness. This class creates a framework of functional strength, stability, balance, and flexibility on the mat that translates to a stronger physical and mental framework on the run. This class will also address stretching and lengthening “runners” muscles to work through tight spots and help prevent injury. Athletes specifically, and everyone else, will benefit from this unique intelligent approach to healthy mindful movement. Whether you’re a regular runner or you hit the pavement/trail here and there, this class will help you feel amazing in your body. Non-runners are welcome to join as well!
